In the early hours of Wednesday (April 22), federal police took a missing teenage girl into protective custody at Mainz Central Station. The girl was heavily intoxicated and disoriented, according to a statement from the Federal Police Inspectorate.

At around 1:45 a.m., officers on patrol were alerted to the girl's presence in the station forecourt. When they located the 15-year-old, they discovered she had previously been reported missing.

A breath alcohol test conducted at the federal police station revealed a significantly elevated level, and a rapid drug test also returned positive.

Since her guardians could not initially be reached, the teenager was taken to a hospital by ambulance due to her medical condition.
