PushNcare is transforming African food heritage into medical-grade nutritional solutions. The company’s AI-driven platforms help combat rising chronic diseases across the continent by offering culturally tailored health interventions. Gilbert Mbeh launched PushNcare as a side project in late 2023. By 2025, it had evolved into a full-stack health-tech developer after his earlier work on the Health Information Desk, a top 20 African solution used during COVID-19.
The company now operates in Cameroon and Nigeria. Its Nutrition OS and population health platform leverage a proprietary AI Nutritional Knowledge Graph. This system codifies over 60,000 traditional African and diaspora foods to create precise, WHO-aligned meal plans in under 90 seconds.
PushNcare also offers AI-powered workforce health audits for as little as US$3 per employee. Its public discovery engine handles over 50,000 weekly searches, while a B2B network connects more than 200 verified dietitians across 18 countries. The firm is currently seeking investment to expand its reach. Non-communicable diseases like Type 2 diabetes and hypertension accounted for 37% of African deaths in 2019, up from 24% in 2000. The region also has the highest rate of undiagnosed diabetes globally. PushNcare’s tools aim to address these challenges by making culturally relevant, clinical nutrition accessible at scale.
