India's First Doctor-Led Brain Wellness Programme Launches for Seniors
India’s first doctor-led brain wellness programme for seniors has launched under the name ActiveMind Daily. The initiative is part of the healthcare venture BlueprintRx and is led by Dr. Sweta Sahu, a physician with experience at leading US institutions. ActiveMind Daily offers one brief daily activity to support memory, language, attention, reflection, and family connection. The programme is designed to fit the rhythms of Indian family life and requires no screen time for seniors. Its framework follows evidence-based guidelines from the World Health Organization and the National Institute on Ageing.
Dr. Sweta Sahu heads the team behind the project. She is joined by co-founder Dr. Sri Sravya Thungathurthi, a physician specialising in healthy ageing and preventive medicine. The programme is currently inviting 50 founding families to a 10-day pilot. Interested families can start with a free 30-second brain wellness check and try three sample activities at no cost. The pilot is limited to 50 families for its first batch. It aims to provide accessible, science-backed brain wellness support tailored to Indian seniors. Participation begins with a simple, no-cost introduction to the programme’s approach.
