Nestlé Philippines relaunches Wellness Campus to boost student health nationwide
NESTLÉ Philippines has relaunched its Wellness Campus program to support student health and learning. The initiative targets public school pupils aged 7 to 17 across nine regions in the country. It officially began on 17 June 2026 with a clear focus on improving nutrition and well-being. The program will run until 30 April 2027. It covers the National Capital Region, Calabarzon, Bicol, Western Visayas, Negros Island Region, Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Northern Mindanao, and Davao Region.
Three main elements form the core of the initiative. These include nutrition education, the Nestlé Wellness Campus Dancercise program, and a series of competitions. The contests feature categories like Best Implementing School, Hataw Sayaw Year 4 dance contest, Sarap Sustansya cook-off, and Wellness Dance Masters. Winners in these events receive cash prizes.
DepEd Davao regional director Allan Farnazo has endorsed the program. He highlighted its role in fostering both student learning and wellness. Charisma Sy, the program lead, stated the aim is to enhance children’s nutrition and overall health through these activities. The Wellness Campus program is now active in selected regions. It offers structured activities and incentives to encourage participation. Schools, divisions, and regions will compete while promoting healthier lifestyles among students.
