The position will bridge curriculum design with program delivery, ensuring mentors effectively teach students about health and leadership. The organisation works to tackle health challenges in underserved communities through teen-focused programmes. The specialist will lead mentor training and development, working across departments to maintain high standards. They will also coach mentors to become skilled facilitators of the curriculum. The role demands a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, plus at least three years in education, instructional design, or a related field.

HealthCorps deploys college-age mentors into schools, where they act as relatable role models for students. These mentors teach nutrition, mental health, and fitness, reaching tens of thousands of students annually. The programme aims to prevent long-term social, emotional, and physical challenges caused by limited health education.

The salary for the position ranges from $50,000 to $55,000 per year.
