Free Dementia Care Course Starts July 9 in Süchteln

A free course titled 'Caring for People with Dementia' will begin on Thursday, July 9. Angelika Kamphausen, a qualified nurse with experience in dementia care, will lead the sessions at St. Irmgardis Hospital in Süchteln. The course will run over four sessions, with the first on Thursday, July 9. The remaining sessions will take place on Wednesdays, July 15, 22, and 29. Each session is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Participants will learn about the progression of dementia and practical ways to support patients. The course also aims to encourage the sharing of experiences among family caregivers. The sessions are free to attend and designed for those caring for dementia patients. Angelika Kamphausen’s expertise will guide attendees through the challenges of dementia care.
