Mandsaur Hospital to Launch Free Mammography Services by June End

The District Hospital in Mandsaur will soon have a state-of-the-art mammography machine. The equipment, worth around Rs 45 lakh, aims to improve early breast cancer detection for women in the area. Services are expected to start by the end of June. The machine is being installed through a joint effort. The family of social worker Pradeep Ganediwal and the Rotary Club of Mandsaur are funding it in memory of late Ranchhod Prasad Ganediwal. District Collector Aditi Garg has already allocated space in the hospital, and technical preparations are underway.

Once operational, the facility will allow local women to access mammography tests without travelling to other cities. This advanced screening will help doctors detect breast cancer early and start treatment promptly. The Ganediwal family has also backed a modern cardiac ambulance project to strengthen emergency healthcare in the district.

Rotary Club officials stated these initiatives would enhance access to quality medical care. They described the projects as a major step in improving Mandsaur’s healthcare infrastructure. The new mammography machine will benefit thousands of women across the district. It will reduce travel time for tests and enable early diagnosis. The cardiac ambulance project will further support emergency medical services in the region.
