Regional Medical Center Unites DAISY and ROSE Awards in Historic Ceremony
Regional Medical Center recently held its first combined DAISY and ROSE Awards Ceremony. The event recognised outstanding contributions in patient care and operational support. It marked a new chapter in the hospital’s tradition of honouring staff excellence. The DAISY Award has long been a way for RMC to celebrate its nursing staff. This year, Nurse Practitioner Denise Lympus received the prestigious accolade for her dedication to patient care.
The ROSE Award was introduced to honour non-nursing employees who play a crucial role in the hospital’s daily operations. Physical Therapist Abbie Wooten was named the recipient for her commitment to enhancing the patient experience.
A full recording of the ceremony is available on RMC’s official YouTube channel. More details about the awards and how to nominate staff can be found at regmedctr.org/nominate. The ceremony highlighted the importance of both clinical and non-clinical roles in delivering high-quality healthcare. RMC continues to encourage nominations for future awards to recognise further achievements. The hospital remains committed to celebrating the efforts of its entire team.
