TUF Barbershop celebrates 11 years with a community fun run in Cebu

TUF Barbershop is marking its 11th anniversary with a special community event. The brand will host its first-ever fun run, the TUF Barbershop 11th Anniversary Run, on September 12, 2026. The race aims to unite people while promoting fitness and healthy living. The event will take place at Mandani Bay in Mandaue City, a day before the company’s official founding anniversary. Participants can choose from four race distances: 1.1K, 3K, 5K, and 11K. Race organiser Joel Juarez of Coco Running will manage the proceedings.

Registration opens on July 1 at 1:11 PM. Each runner receives an official shirt, finisher’s medal, race bib, post-race meal, and a raffle stub. Cash prizes ranging from P800 to P3,000 will be awarded to the top three finishers in each category.

Beyond the race, the day will feature side activities, entertainment, and surprise celebrations for both participants and spectators. CEO Stuart Wayne Violanda initiated the event to foster community spirit and encourage active lifestyles. TUF Barbershop has grown from a single shop in 2015 to 39 branches across Cebu, Visayas, Mindanao, and soon Metro Manila. Recognised as the Best Barbershop in Cebu, the brand credits its success to consistency and community trust. The anniversary run reflects its commitment to engaging with the public in new ways.
