Whoop, the screen-free fitness wearable with over 2.5 million users, is expanding its services this summer. The company will introduce on-demand video consultations with licensed clinicians for users in the U.S. The new feature will allow users to connect with healthcare professionals through live video calls. Clinicians will have access to biometric data collected by the Whoop app to help interpret health information. These consultations will come at an additional cost, though the exact price has not yet been announced.
Whoop is also adding AI-powered personalised coaching features, including My Memory and Proactive Check-Ins. Additionally, a partnership with HealthEx will enable users to sync their Electronic Health Records (EHR) with the platform. The updates aim to provide users with more comprehensive health insights and direct access to medical advice. Whoop’s expanded offerings will combine wearable data with professional guidance and integrated health records. The new services are set to launch in the coming months.
