A safety awareness event took place at Magadan's Lyceum No. 14 as part of the regional 'Safe Summer' campaign. The interagency gathering focused on child safety, covering road rules, healthy lifestyles, and protection from harmful habits. The event brought together traffic police, the regional Drug Control Directorate of the Interior Ministry (UNK), the Emergency Ministry, and the 'Yunost' Youth Center. Traffic police organised a live demonstration of a patrol car, letting children sit behind the wheel.
Major Svetlana Dugayeva from UNK spoke to the young attendees about the dangers of drug use. She also introduced the 'Time of the INdependent' campaign. Meanwhile, children engaged in activities at the 'Safety Lab' mobile station, solving riddles, reviewing road signs, and exploring police equipment. The initiative aimed to educate children on key safety topics through interactive sessions. Local authorities and organisations collaborated to deliver practical lessons in a hands-on format.
