Zackat Labs Unveils AI-Powered Wearable for Real-Time Worker Safety
Zackat Labs has launched a new connected safety platform featuring the W3 wearable and a gas monitor. The system aims to improve worker health and safety by tracking vital signs and detecting gas exposure in real time. Industry leaders have already begun adopting the technology for field operations. The W3 wearable device monitors physiological signals like core body temperature and heart rate variability. It works alongside a single- or four-gas monitor, which connects via Bluetooth to the W3. Together, they provide continuous safety tracking for workers in high-risk environments.
AT&T provides secure cellular IoT connectivity for the platform, ensuring near real-time data transmission. Zackat Labs manages this connectivity through AT&T Control Center. When potential health risks arise, the W3 sends instant alerts to supervisors’ mobile phones and the W3 dashboard.
RCW Energy Services has adopted the system to protect its service technicians from heat stress. Gas exposure alerts are delivered immediately through the connected application. Brent Barrs, VP of sales at Zackat Labs, called the platform a major advancement in workplace safety. The W3 platform and its gas monitor are designed to set new safety standards across multiple industries. Early users like RCW Energy Services are already deploying the system to safeguard their teams. The technology combines real-time monitoring with rapid alert systems to reduce workplace risks.
