Man in Psychological Crisis Barricades Self in Efringen-Kirchen Apartment

A 48-year-old man barricaded himself inside an apartment in Efringen-Kirchen’s Istein district early this morning. The incident led to a standoff with police after emergency responders received an alert shortly before 7 a.m. The man was experiencing a severe psychological crisis. Specialised SWAT units were called in to assist with the operation. Officers eventually subdued him without any injuries occurring.
