Magadan's New 50-Bed Rehabilitation Centre to Open in July
A new 50-bed multidisciplinary rehabilitation centre in Magadan is nearing completion. The facility forms part of the wider revitalisation of the Gorokhotskoye Field area. It is set to open in July and will provide specialised support for people with disabilities. Major interior construction has finished, with final touches, furniture installation, and medical equipment now in place. The complex consists of three interconnected buildings sharing a technical floor. Specialists are currently commissioning and fine-tuning the facility before its launch.
The centre will offer medical and social rehabilitation, physiotherapy, thermotherapy, ergotherapy, and psychological and educational support. It also features a specialised pool with an adjustable floor for water therapy. A multidisciplinary team, including therapists, neurologists, paediatricians, rehabilitation doctors, physiotherapists, and hydrotherapy instructors, will care for patients. The centre aims to deliver high-quality, comprehensive support for individuals with disabilities. Its opening in July will mark a significant addition to healthcare services in Magadan. The project aligns with ongoing efforts to revitalise the Gorokhotskoye Field area.
