Work Pushes to the Limit: Almost Half of Russians Live in Constant Stress

Nearly half of Russians report frequent work-related stress in new survey

A recent survey has revealed the state of work-related stress among Russians. Nearly half of the respondents reported frequent stress, while only a small fraction claimed to never experience it at all. The survey found that 44.7% of Russians often face work-related stress. A further 11% feel stressed almost constantly. In contrast, 53.3% experience it occasionally or rarely, and just 1.9% never feel stressed at work.

Poorly organised workflows emerged as the leading cause of stress, cited by 37.5% of respondents. Low wages followed closely, affecting 34.2%, while monotonous tasks were a concern for 34%. Overtime and lack of free time also ranked highly, with 35.8% identifying them as major stressors.

Despite these pressures, 76.4% of those surveyed believe stress does not significantly harm their productivity. However, 46.7% admitted they would consider leaving their job if stress levels became unbearable. The findings highlight the prevalence of workplace stress in Russia and its various triggers. While most workers feel it impacts them to some degree, a majority still believe their performance remains unaffected. The data also suggests a potential risk of staff turnover if stress continues to rise.
