Last Friday, St. Valentin Kindergarten hosted a special event for grandparents at the Dalberg Cellar in Zella/Rhön Parish. The gathering celebrated their role in supporting and caring for their grandchildren. Director Jana Voll opened the occasion with warm words of appreciation. The children took centre stage with a carefully rehearsed performance. Their efforts earned enthusiastic applause from the audience. For many of the young performers, sharing this moment with their grandparents was a cherished experience.
After the show, the kindergarten invited everyone to enjoy coffee and cake together. The grandparents expressed their joy and thanks for the event. Some had attended for the first time, while others marked their last visit as their grandchildren prepare to move on. Many had guided multiple grandchildren through their kindergarten years.
The grandparents also took time to thank the educators for their daily dedication. They recognised the loving and attentive support the staff provide to the children every day. The event brought together generations in a warm and celebratory atmosphere. The kindergarten’s gesture of gratitude left a lasting impression on all who attended. The children, grandparents, and educators shared a meaningful day together.
