Kalininsky Hospital Unveils Upgraded Therapy Unit After Major Renovation
Kalininsky District Hospital has completed a major upgrade of its therapy unit. The work was part of the state programme 'Healthcare Development'. The renovated department will now serve over 40,000 local residents. The therapy unit received a full overhaul of its utility systems and interior finishes. Its layout was also redesigned to create better conditions for patients. A new lounge area was added for staff comfort.
A mentorship system has been introduced to support new employees. Experienced specialists now guide recruits through workflows and hospital standards.
The hospital plans to expand its workforce further. Fourteen additional staff members will join next year, with three more expected in 2026. Meanwhile, major repairs are scheduled for departments in 15 other medical facilities across the region before the end of the year. The upgraded therapy unit is now operational and ready to serve the community. More staff will join the hospital in the coming years. Additional renovations are also underway in other regional medical centres.
