Mindful eating and daily movement take center stage at senior assembly
A recent delegates' assembly featured a lecture by Diplom-Oecotrophologin Adelborg Angerer on mindful eating and daily movement. The event was moderated by Carolin Voelkner, the municipal senior and disability commissioner. Angerer delivered a talk titled Enjoy life consciously: Eat mindfully, move daily. She explained the food pyramid and provided exercise recommendations. Her presentation also covered how the body changes with age and how healthy eating can fit into everyday routines.
After the lecture, delegates asked many questions, showing strong interest in the topic. Earlier, Franz Woelfl, chairman of the senior council, reviewed the past months. He highlighted working sessions, senior city talks, special excursion trips, and a stand at the Landshuter environmental fair. The assembly provided practical advice on nutrition and movement. It also reflected on the senior council’s recent activities. The event ended with an engaged audience and a clear focus on healthy living.
