Urgent Recall: Salmonella Risk Found in Popular Organic Moringa Supplements
A recall has been issued for certain organic moringa supplements sold across major retailers. The products, distributed by Total Nutrition Inc., may be contaminated with salmonella. Consumers are advised to check their purchases immediately. Total Nutrition Inc. is pulling two TNVitamins organic moringa products from the market. These are the 100% Organic Moringa 1,200 mg Capsules and 100% Organic Moringa Powder. Only items with specific lot numbers are affected: AB9917, Lot 2800 for the capsules, and AB9904, Lot 2782 for the powder.
The recalled capsules come in white bottles containing 90 capsules. The powder is packaged in a white HDPE jar with 96 grams. Both were sold nationwide through Amazon, Walmart, Target, TikTok Shop, and the company’s website.
Salmonella infection can lead to serious illness. Symptoms include fever, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. The risk is higher for young children, older adults, and those with weakened immune systems. Consumers should stop using the recalled products and dispose of them at once. For more details, they can visit TNVitamins’ recall page. The company has urged customers to take this warning seriously.
