Almaty Mother Welcomes Triplets After Unexpected Early Labor at 32 Weeks

A woman in Almaty has given birth to triplets after going into labour unexpectedly at 32 weeks. The delivery took place at the Almaty City Perinatal Center, where doctors performed an emergency procedure. Both the mother and the three newborns are now in stable condition.

The pregnancy progressed naturally, without fertility treatments. When contractions began early, the medical team acted quickly to ensure a safe arrival. Their coordinated efforts resulted in the successful delivery of two boys and a girl.

The triplets—named Zangar, Aibar, and Asel—were born healthy but underweight due to their prematurity. Zangar weighed 1,840g, Aibar 1,680g, and Asel 1,620g. All three were placed under special observation in the neonatal unit.

Since the arrival, the newborns have shown steady progress. Their weights have increased, and their health remains stable. For the family, this arrival marks a significant change, as the mother now has six children in total.

The Almaty City Perinatal Center handled over 9,000 deliveries last year. Among them were two other sets of triplets, though such cases remain relatively rare.

The triplets continue to develop well under medical supervision. Their growth and stable condition reflect the effectiveness of the care provided. The family now adjusts to life with six children, following the safe but unexpected early arrival of their newest members.
