Community Donation Fuels Grief Support for Young People in Dithmarschen

This year, the Hospice Association of Dithmarschen's bereavement support groups—particularly its program for grieving children and adolescents—received vital backing. The initiative provides a place where young people can find guidance in coping with profound loss, offering a safe space for healing through conversation and creative activities to help them regain their footing in daily life. Anyone who has experienced loss knows just how difficult that journey can be.

In the warm, thoughtfully designed rooms of the Meldorf center, a check for €2,020 was presented with great joy to Ellen Jansen and Anna Hardtke, both of the Hospice Association, by Dennis Tank of the Marner Carnival Society (Marner Karnevals-Gesellschaft e.V.) and Bianca Heinecke of Dithmarscher Brewery. Heartfelt thanks go to every individual who contributed to the donation bottle campaign, making this meaningful project possible.
