Drive-In Donation Day returns to support Ukraine on March 21

A sixth Drive-In Donation Day will take place on March 21, 2023, at Johannes Gutenberg Secondary School. Organisers are collecting urgently needed supplies for Ukraine as humanitarian needs grow. Donors can contribute between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. The event aims to gather essential items for the next aid convoy. High-demand supplies include medications, first aid kits, and hygiene products. Mobility aids, children’s toys, and non-perishable food are also required.

Other critical items include blankets, sleeping bags, batteries, flashlights, and candles. Donors are asked to pack contributions in banana boxes or sturdy moving boxes for easier transport. Monetary donations remain vital to purchase additional supplies. A joint donation account has been set up at **Pax Bank** under **Ukraine Aid**. The initiative has received support from patrons **Dr. Michael Metten**, **Martin Lucke**, and **former Mayor Frank Stein**.

The collected supplies will directly assist those facing hardship in Ukraine. Organisers urge the public to contribute either physical items or funds. All donations will go toward the next aid convoy.
