Ebersberg's Health Open Day Offers Free Dementia Screenings and Interactive Activities

The Ebersberg Public Health Office is hosting an open-day event on Thursday, 19 March, under the theme Diversity for Health. Visitors will have the chance to explore health services, try interactive activities, and enter a prize draw. One highlight is a free dementia screening for those aged 65 and above.

The event will feature a range of activities, including vision tests, blood pressure checks, and a sensory perception course. Attendees can also experience ageing firsthand by trying on a special simulation suit.

The dementia screening is open to anyone 65 or older, but appointments must be booked in advance. Each session includes a 15- to 20-minute scientific assessment followed by a short counselling discussion. To register, people should call **08092/823-523** or email **[email protected]**. While the number of online raffle entries before 19 March remains undisclosed, organisers have confirmed that all visitors can take part in the draw on the day.

The open-day event runs on 19 March at the Ebersberg Public Health Office. Free dementia screenings are available by appointment for eligible attendees. Activities like the age simulation suit and health checks will run throughout the day.
