Model Celebrates the 17th Wedding Anniversary of the Couple - Emma Heming-Willis celebrates 17 years with Bruce amid dementia battle

Emma Heming-Willis has marked 17 years of marriage with Bruce Willis, sharing a touching tribute on social media. The milestone comes as the couple's charity, the Emma & Bruce Willis Fund for Dementia Research and Caregiver Support, continues to make strides in tackling frontotemporal dementia (FTD).

Emma and Bruce Willis first met in 2007 and married in March 2009. Earlier this month, she posted an Instagram photo of him carrying her along a beach, captioned: 'I was made to love him. 17 years.' The couple celebrated shortly after Bruce's 71st birthday.

Bruce was diagnosed with aphasia in March 2022, with doctors later confirming frontotemporal dementia in February 2023. FTD often affects communication and behaviour, presenting significant challenges for patients and families. In response to his diagnosis, the family launched the Emma & Bruce Willis Fund for Dementia Research and Caregiver Support in 2022. By 2024, the fund had awarded $1.5 million in grants to institutions like UCSF, focusing on FTD biomarkers and treatments. It also expanded support for caregivers, offering respite programmes and online resources that reached over 5,000 families by early 2026.

The charity's work has grown steadily since its founding, funding research and providing practical help for those affected by FTD. Meanwhile, Emma's public messages continue to highlight the couple's enduring bond amid Bruce's health journey.
