A discussion on healthy living took place at the Pushkin Regional Scientific Library in Magadan on June 5. Anna Zhukova, a sports expert and lecturer with the Russian Society Znanie, led the session as part of the organisation’s annual summer wellness campaigns. Zhukova highlighted the importance of building simple, effective habits for long-term health. She stressed balanced nutrition, regular exercise, and proper sleep as core principles. The lecturer also advised making gradual changes, setting clear goals, and monitoring progress over time.

During the talk, she addressed common health myths, including the idea that people must drink four litres of water daily. Modern approaches to hygiene, stress reduction, and managing screen time were also covered. The event tied into Russia’s national project *Long and Active Life*, launched on January 1, 2025. This initiative aims to raise the country’s average life expectancy to 78 years. Special events will mark key dates such as Russia Day, the Day of Family, Love, and Faithfulness, and Flag Day. The Znanie Society’s summer campaigns include lectures and workshops in children’s camps across Russia. Topics range from career advice to digital and financial literacy, offering practical guidance for all ages.

The session in Magadan was one of many planned as part of Znanie’s nationwide wellness push. The campaigns provide accessible education on health, lifestyle, and personal development. Further events will continue throughout the summer in various regions.
