Free Freiburg lecture offers career advice to combat burnout risks

A free career advice lecture on preventing burnout will take place in Freiburg on March 5, 2023. Organised as part of the BiZ & Donna series, the main event aims to help attendees build resilience and find better balance in work and life. Registration is required before the deadline.

The session, titled Preventing Burnout: Strengthening Resilience and Balance, runs from 2:30 to 4:00 PM at the Career Information Center (BiZ) on Lehener Straße. Speaker Alexandra Pander will lead the discussion, offering practical tips for managing stress and improving personal well-being. The event is free, but participants must sign up by March 3, 2023.

Chronic stress and insufficient recovery are known contributors to burnout. While broader trends on burnout rates in Germany remain unclear, studies suggest fairer workplace conditions can reduce symptoms. The lecture is part of a wider initiative by the Equal Opportunities Officer for the Labour Market to support healthier work environments.

The event provides an opportunity for attendees to learn actionable strategies against burnout. Those interested must register by the deadline to secure a place. Further details are available through the Career Information Center in Freiburg.
