Good Monk, a direct-to-consumer (D2C) nutrition brand, has raised ₹33 crore (around $3.6 million) in its latest funding round. The company, founded in 2022, has grown rapidly, recording a 25-fold increase in sales over the past 18 months. Its products include dietary supplements, drink mixes, and plant-based protein powders designed to boost daily nutrition.
The pre-Series A round was led by RPSG Capital Ventures, with contributions from Sharrp Ventures, Hyperscale Ventures, and the families of co-founders Amarpreet Singh Anand and Sahiba Kaur. This follows a previous $2 million funding round last year, also backed by RPSG Capital Ventures and existing investors. The latest investment values Good Monk at ₹175 crore (approximately $19.5 million).
The brand first gained attention after appearing on Shark Tank India, where it secured ₹50 lakh from Sugar Cosmetics founder Vineeta Gupta in exchange for 1% equity. Currently, Good Monk sells its products through its own website and major ecommerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart. The company plans to expand its digital presence further while exploring new product formats to integrate nutrition into everyday diets.
Funds from this round will support research and development for new offerings. Additionally, the brand aims to strengthen its distribution in tier II and III markets by increasing brand awareness. Good Monk operates under SuperFoods Valley, which also runs WhatsYourNiq, a personalised food recommendation app.
With fresh funding and a focus on preventive healthcare, Good Monk is set to expand its product range and market reach. The company's rapid growth and strategic investments highlight its ambition to make nutrition more accessible across India. The next phase includes deeper penetration into smaller cities and continued innovation in dietary supplements.
