Göttingen Expands Online Directory of Care Services to Include Home Care and Daily Support
The city of Göttingen has broadened its long-standing online directory of available spots in nursing homes and day care facilities to now include home care providers and services supporting daily living, known as AZUA (Alltagsunterstützende Angebote).
As with the existing nursing home listings, the updated platform now shows which home care providers in the Göttingen area currently have open capacity for the week.
The directory covers basic nursing care, medical treatment care, counseling visits under Section 37(3) of Germany's Long-Term Care Insurance Act (SGB XI), household assistance, and individual or group support services.
This expanded resource serves as an initial guide for those affected and their families, helping them identify local options to facilitate and improve at-home care arrangements.
A weekly overview of available services is updated by the city of Göttingen, offering a non-binding starting point for finding open capacities across the city.
