Halle Hospital Hosts Interactive Children's Safety Day on June 10, 2026

St. Elisabeth and St. Barbara Hospital in Halle (Saale) is hosting a Children’s Safety Day on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. The event runs from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the hospital on Mauerstraße 5, offering families a chance to learn about safety in a fun, interactive way. The afternoon will feature hands-on activities designed to teach children how to spot and avoid everyday dangers. Exhibits will cover topics like poisoning prevention, protection against viruses and bacteria, and digital safety for young kids.

A virtual kitchen tour will let children explore hazards from their own perspective. Meanwhile, a wheelchair rally will give them the chance to test their mobility skills. The hospital’s mascot, Fakuta, will also be on hand to welcome visitors. Emergency teams will showcase their work through live demonstrations. The DLRG canine rescue team, an ASB ambulance, and the Lieskau Volunteer Fire Department’s youth fire brigade will all take part. Information booths and interactive stations will provide tips on health, safety, and accident prevention for the whole family.

The event is free and open to children, parents, and families. Attendees will leave with practical knowledge on staying safe at home and outdoors. Organisers aim to make learning about prevention engaging for all ages.
