Halton's FEEDUARY 2025 Opens Doors to Student Nutrition Programs
Halton Food for Thought is preparing for its seventh annual FEEDUARY campaign, running from February 3 to 28, 2025. The event will highlight the importance of Student Nutrition Programs across the Halton region while inviting the community to see their impact firsthand. The charity has been supporting Halton students for nearly 30 years, beginning as a small group of parents. Today, it operates in 152 schools, providing nutritious food to around 95,000 students—covering 93% of the region’s school population.
During FEEDUARY, the organisation will host visits to 13 schools, allowing community members to observe the programs in action. Over 1,600 volunteers work alongside staff and partner schools to keep these initiatives running smoothly. The campaign will also showcase specific programs and recognise the contributions of those involved. Aliya Khawari, the charity’s executive director, noted that FEEDUARY gives the public a chance to witness the real difference these efforts make.
FEEDUARY 2025 will put a spotlight on nutrition programs that reach thousands of students daily. By opening school visits and honouring volunteers, Halton Food for Thought aims to strengthen community support for its long-standing mission.
