India Chambers USA Launches Responsible Nutrition Initiative in New Jersey
India Chambers USA has launched a new initiative to strengthen ties between India and the United States in responsible nutrition. Called the USA Desk, it will operate from NutrifyToday’s office in Somerset, New Jersey. The project aims to speed up collaboration between the two countries in food, health, and agricultural innovation. The Desk will serve as an open platform for leaders from both nations. They can meet, discuss partnerships, and run technical projects together. Policy alignment and shared standards will also be a major focus.
Dr. Anand Swaroop has been named Country Representative (USA) and Head of the USA Desk. He will use the Somerset location as a central hub for bringing investors, researchers, and businesses together. The goal is to turn ideas into real market results through fast, practical action. One key effort involves creating an R&D highway for responsible nutrition. Joint working groups will drive innovation in food and health. The Desk will also provide transparent access to India’s organic land bank via a digital ‘data room’. Another priority is connecting U.S. and Indian investors. By co-funding dual-market projects, the initiative hopes to boost investment in sustainable nutrition solutions.
The USA Desk plans to build a fast-moving corridor between India and the U.S. in responsible nutrition. Through partnerships, research, and investment, it will work to bridge gaps between the two markets. The initiative is now operational from its base in New Jersey.
