More people in Kazakhstan are now prioritising their health through better habits. By the end of 2025, 35.7% of the population followed healthy recipes principles. This marks a 1.5% rise from the previous year.

To support this shift, the country has expanded health equity programmes. Specialised schools within clinics now teach residents how to maintain their wellbeing.

The government introduced health schools to promote disease prevention and healthy living. These programmes operate in two main settings: outpatient clinics and hospitals.

In 2025, outpatient clinics hosted 4,719 health schools across Kazakhstan. Over 1.66 million people attended sessions on nutrition, exercise, and general wellness. Meanwhile, hospitals ran 380 additional schools, reaching 253,352 participants.

The rise in attendance reflects growing public interest in proactive health management. Many citizens now focus on regular physical activity, balanced diets, and early disease prevention.

The number of Kazakhs adopting healthier lifestyles has steadily increased. With 35.7% embracing wellness principles, the country's health schools have played a key role. These programmes continue to expand, offering practical guidance to a growing audience.
