A wild herb excursion recently took place in Koblenz, drawing nature enthusiasts to the city forest. The event was hosted by the Koblenz Environmental Agency’s forest ecology station and featured a guided walk on a mild spring day. The three-hour walk was led by Michaela Teusch, a forest educator, and Oliver Euskirchen, head of the forest ecology station. Together, they guided participants through the forest, sharing insights into the healing properties, medicinal uses, and traditional culinary recipes of various herbs.
During the excursion, the group identified numerous wild plants in their natural habitat using images and examples.
