Krefeld Red Cross Launches Prenatal Yoga for Expectant Mothers in April
The Krefeld Red Cross Family Education Center is offering a new 'Prenatal Yoga' course starting April 14. Designed for expectant mothers, the programme aims to build body awareness and ease the physical and emotional challenges of pregnancy.
The course runs for 13 weekly sessions, held every Tuesday from 9 to 10 a.m. Classes take place at the Red Cross district office Burchartzhof, located at Uerdinger Straße 609, near Bockumer Platz transit stop. The fee for participation is €110.50.
Prenatal yoga focuses on gentle exercises to release tension, strengthen muscles, and boost energy. It also helps women manage fears and adapt to bodily changes during pregnancy. Beginners can join from the 13th week of pregnancy, while those with prior yoga experience may start at any time. Before attending, participants are advised to consult their gynaecologist about any movement restrictions. Registration is open now via email at [email protected].
The course provides structured support for expectant mothers through targeted yoga practice. Interested women can secure their place by contacting the Red Cross Family Education Center directly. Classes begin in mid-April and run weekly at the Burchartzhof location.
