Lörrach's Digital Health Hub Wins €5,200 for Community Well-Being

A digital platform in Lörrach District has won the Healthy Municipality 2025 award for its work in improving community health. GesundSozial.digital offers easy access to healthcare information, support services, and local resources. The prize includes a €5,200 grant to help expand the project further.

The platform brings together essential details on health, prevention, and social services in one place. Users can find guidance on illnesses, treatments, exercise programmes, counselling, and psychosocial support. It also connects people to local contact points for additional help.

The Bündnis 52 coalition, which supports the award, represents more than half of all insured individuals in Baden-Württemberg. This marks the 13th year the Healthy Municipality grant has been given to innovative health projects.

A dedicated team is now working on new features, including digital guides, online consultations, and training sessions. The platform is regularly reviewed and updated to ensure it meets the community's needs. Judges praised its creative and sustainable approach to promoting public health.

The €5,200 grant will fund further improvements and digital inclusion efforts. The platform aims to keep simplifying access to healthcare and support networks. Future updates will build on its current success in Lörrach District.
