Mave Health Raises $3.5M to Launch Brain-Stimulating Headset in 2026

Mave Health, a startup developing non-invasive brain-stimulating headsets, has secured $3.5 million in seed funding. The round was led by Sequoia Capital India, with contributions from multiple venture firms and angel investors. The company plans to use the funds to expand manufacturing ahead of its product launch in 2026.

Founded in 2023 by Dhawal Jain, Jai Sharma, and Aman Kumar, Mave Health operates from San Francisco and Bengaluru. The team previously raised $750,000 in a pre-seed round in November 2023. Their flagship product is a lightweight headset designed to enhance focus, mood, and stress management through transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS).

The device weighs around 100 grams and is intended for 20-minute daily sessions during everyday tasks. It runs on a single charge for up to a month and delivers stimulation at 1-2 mA. Pre-orders are now open at $495, with shipments scheduled to start in April 2026. The latest funding round included Inuka Capital, Stanford Angels, Aureolis Ventures, and All In Capital. Angel investors such as Dhaval Shroff, Raymond Russell, and the founders of Groww also participated. The capital will support scaling production to meet demand for the upcoming launch.

With fresh funding secured, Mave Health is preparing to bring its tDCS headset to market by mid-2026. The device aims to provide a portable, non-invasive solution for mental wellbeing. Shipments will begin after pre-orders close, with manufacturing now ramping up.
