Mothers Sacrifice Their Health for Family, Survey Reveals
A recent survey by Habuild has revealed that many mothers put their own health on hold while caring for their families. The findings show that older women, particularly those aged 45 and above, make up over 60% of the respondents.
The Habuild survey highlights a common trend: mothers often delay focusing on their well-being after years of prioritising family needs. Many admitted they struggle to find time for personal health, even when aware of its importance.
Nearly 59% of those surveyed said they would be more likely to take their health seriously if they had access to structured health programmes. A large number also stressed the need for expert advice and community support to stay on track with their goals. Saurabh Bothra, Co-founder of Habuild, commented on the results. He noted that when mothers are empowered to care for themselves, it benefits the entire family in the long run.
The survey suggests that structured programmes and professional guidance could encourage more mothers to prioritise their health. With over 60% of participants aged 45 and above, the findings point to a need for targeted support for older women balancing family and personal well-being.
