Neurologist Reveals Early Dementia Signs Many Overlook

Polina Vakhromeeva, a neurologist at Yusupov Hospital, has outlined the early signs of dementia, as reported by Lenta.ru.

The first warning sign is sudden, severe forgetfulness that goes beyond ordinary absentmindedness. A person may forget where they were going or where they placed something, misplace everyday items, or leave important documents in odd locations. Over time, such incidents become more frequent.

A second indicator is shifts in mood or behavior—depression, anxiety, apathy, irritability, or withdrawal from social interactions.

The third sign is a loss of interest in once-beloved hobbies and activities.
