New leadership takes helm at Omsk's psychiatric hospital after director's exit
The Solodnikov Omsk Regional Clinical Psychiatric Hospital has seen a change in leadership. According to official records from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Alexander Storozhenko was appointed acting chief physician on March 17.
The new head of the medical institution is a seasoned professional and a 1999 graduate of Omsk State Medical Academy, where he earned his degree in general medicine. He began his career with a residency in radiology, completing it in 2000. In 2013, Storozhenko further expanded his expertise by undergoing specialized retraining at Omsk State Medical University in healthcare management and public health.
The hospital's former director, Andrei Cheperin, has stepped down from his post but remains active in the professional community. He currently retains his position as chairman of the Omsk Society of Psychiatrists, a regional public organization.
This leadership change follows a recent appointment at the Omsk regional veterans' hospital, where Alexander Dinkelaker was named acting chief physician.
