New Teaching Role Merges Data-Driven and Strategic Corporate Communication

A new teaching position is opening in the fields of strategic and data-driven corporate communication. The role will focus on empirical communication science, with lectures delivered in English. Candidates must bring both academic expertise and practical experience in data-based communication strategies. The position requires in-depth knowledge of empirical communication methods and their real-world applications. Lectures will cover strategic corporate, association, and organisational communication, along with data collection and analysis. Teaching will take place in three programmes: the bachelor’s degrees in Technical Journalism/Technical PR and Social Data Science & Communication, as well as the master’s in Innovation Communication.

Beyond regular lectures, the role involves developing new study and teaching offers. Responsibilities will also include supervising project and final theses. Practical experience in data-driven monitoring, predictive communication intelligence, or corporate communication—particularly in tech industries or research institutions—is strongly preferred. The successful candidate will design and lead applied teaching and research projects. These will explore areas such as data-based corporate communication and strategic organisational messaging. A solid theoretical background in data-driven PR and strategic communication is essential.

The new position will expand teaching in data-driven and strategic communication across multiple degree programmes. Lectures will be conducted entirely in English, with a focus on empirical methods and real-world applications. The role aims to bridge academic theory with practical industry needs in corporate and organisational communication.
