Nizhny Novgorod celebrates Do Good initiative's impact on children in need
A special event in Nizhny Novgorod will showcase the results of the Do Good social initiative on May 27. The project brought together volunteers, students, and local institutions to support children in need. Organisers will share their experiences alongside the young participants themselves. The Do Good project included charity campaigns at Orphanage No. 2 and Special Needs School No. 39. Volunteers worked closely with the children, providing support and organising activities. The initiative was a joint effort by the Nizhegorodsky District administration and Nizhny Novgorod State Medical Academy.
Alina Korotkikh, director of Orphanage No. 2, will speak about the project’s impact on the children. Valentina Vilkova, head of Special Needs School No. 39, will also share her observations. Both will highlight how the initiative has benefited their institutions. Irina Zobanova, a fifth-year medical student, will explain how the project was developed and carried out. Children from the orphanage and the special needs school will join the discussion, describing their own experiences with the volunteers.
The event will take place in the Nizhegorodsky District, offering a detailed look at the project’s achievements. Speakers will include educators, students, and the children who took part. Their accounts will provide a full picture of the initiative’s work and its effects.
