Ochsner Baton Rouge has expanded its medical team with new physicians and advanced practice providers. The growth aims to improve access to specialised care across multiple disciplines, including mental health awareness, women's health, neuropsychology, and oncology.
New patients can now receive services in areas such as mental health, family medicine, and complex ENT disorders at various locations, including Ochsner Health Center - O'Neal and Ochsner Cancer Center - Baton Rouge.
The expansion introduces several specialists to the region. Dr. Alexis Ambeau, a neuropsychologist, has joined Ochsner Health Center - O'Neal, focusing on cognitive disorder assessments. Dr. Madeleine Dehner, an MD, will provide chronic disease management and preventive care at the same location.
In women's health, Maci Petite, NP, now offers obstetric and gynaecological services at Ochsner Health Center - O'Neal. Dr. Anna Claire Saucier, MD, also delivers full-spectrum women's health care at Ochsner Medical Center - Baton Rouge.
For mental health support, Sherry Coleman, NP, a psychiatric mental health practitioner, has joined the O'Neal team. Meanwhile, otolaryngologist Dr. Victoria Page, MD, brings advanced treatments for voice, airway, and swallowing disorders to Ochsner Cancer Center - Baton Rouge. Amy David, NP, specialises in ENT care across both Ochsner Health Center - Prairieville and the Baton Rouge cancer facility.
The additions strengthen Ochsner's network, which operates clinics and specialty centres in East Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge, Ascension, and Livingston parishes. The system's growth is designed to meet the region's evolving healthcare needs with tailored, patient-focused services.
