Pampanga Launches Aid Program for Struggling Dialysis Patients

The Pampanga provincial government has rolled out a new support program for dialysis patients. The initiative targets those struggling with the high costs and physical demands of treatment. Aid was distributed in several towns, with local leaders taking part in the effort. Governor Lilia Pineda and Vice Governor Dennis Pineda personally oversaw the distribution of assistance. Each beneficiary received a sack of rice during events held in Lubao, Magalang, Mexico, and Apalit. The program aims to provide relief to patients facing financial and health-related challenges from regular dialysis sessions.

The provincial government is also expanding healthcare infrastructure. New hospital projects are underway in Apalit, Bacolor, San Luis, and Arayat. These developments form part of a broader push to improve medical services across the region. Governor Pineda emphasised the importance of preventive care in reducing kidney disease cases. She noted that better access to early healthcare could lower the number of patients needing long-term treatment.

The aid distribution marks a direct effort to support dialysis patients in Pampanga. With ongoing hospital upgrades and preventive health measures, the province aims to address both immediate needs and long-term healthcare challenges. The program reflects a continued investment in local medical services.
