Pampanga's ₱50M diagnostic hub to offer free lab services by July 2023
A new ₱50-million diagnostic building will open in Lubao, Pampanga, by July 2023. The facility aims to provide free laboratory services to residents in the province’s second district. Governor Lilia Pineda announced the project during a recent medical mission. The diagnostic building forms part of the Alagang Nanay Preventive Healthcare Program. This initiative encourages regular medical checkups and early disease detection among locals. Services on offer will include blood chemistry tests, X-rays, 2D echo, mammograms, CT scans, and ultrasounds.
Governor Pineda made the announcement while attending a medical mission that assisted 1,156 people. During the event, beneficiaries received free consultations, essential medicines, and food packs. The new facility will expand access to critical healthcare services in the area. The Lubao diagnostic building is set to begin operations in mid-2023. Residents will gain free access to a wide range of laboratory and imaging services. The project aligns with ongoing efforts to improve preventive healthcare across Pampanga’s second district.
