RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG reports record growth with €1.7B revenue and high-tech medical expansion
RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG has reported strong financial results for 2025 while expanding its medical services. The hospital group saw revenue growth of 6.8%, reaching €1.7 billion, and introduced cutting-edge technology across its five major facilities. Investments in advanced treatments, including a new breast cancer centre and photon counting CT systems, have reinforced its position in German healthcare. The group's financial performance improved significantly last year. Consolidated profit rose to €36.3 million, with EBITDA climbing to €105.9 million. Shareholders are set to receive a dividend of €0.20 per share, as proposed by the Supervisory Board and management.
Patient numbers also grew, with 938,650 people treated in 2025—a 2.5% increase from the previous year. Five key locations now operate under the group: Campus Bad Neustadt, Zentralklinik Bad Berka, Klinikum Frankfurt (Oder), and the university clinics in Gießen and Marburg (UKGM). Major investments focused on high-tech medicine. In Gießen, a new laboratory line was installed, while Marburg gained a 3 Tesla MRI and advanced cardiac catheter equipment. Bad Berka received a modern radiotherapy system for cancer care. The university sites in Gießen and Marburg also launched a joint breast centre, raising standards for oncological treatment in Hesse. Additionally, Campus Bad Neustadt strengthened its stroke care with certified programmes. The group also became the only hospital network in Germany to deploy three next-generation photon counting CT systems, enhancing diagnostic precision.
RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG plans further expansion in 2026, targeting revenues of around €1.7 billion. EBITDA is forecasted between €110 million and €125 million. The group's focus on technology and specialised care continues to drive growth across its five main facilities.
