Indian cricket star Rohit Sharma, known as the 'Hitman', has become an investor and equity partner in health and fitness platform FITTR. The move follows his earlier role as the company’s first brand ambassador. Sharma’s investment reflects a shared commitment to sustainable health habits and informed lifestyle choices. Before finalising the deal, Sharma spent several months engaging with FITTR’s founder and CEO, Jitendra Chouksey, and the leadership team. This period allowed him to understand the business, its objectives, and long-term growth plans. His decision to invest came after recognising the company’s strong fundamentals and expansion potential.

FITTR aims to broaden its preventive health offerings through this partnership. Chouksey has emphasised the importance of returning to core principles like movement, nutrition, consistency, and personal responsibility. These values align with Sharma’s own approach to health and fitness.

FITTR has previously secured around $17 million from investors such as Rainmatter, Dream11, Peak XV Partners’ Surge, and actor Suniel Shetty. The exact size of Sharma’s investment has not been disclosed. The partnership strengthens FITTR’s position in the health and fitness sector. Sharma’s involvement is expected to support the company’s growth and expansion of its services. Both parties share a focus on promoting lasting, healthy lifestyle changes.
