Russia's consumer protection agency, Rospotrebnadzor, has launched a new series of educational comics for children. The first issue, The Adventures of Petya Lentyayev, teaches young readers about germs and how to protect themselves in a fun, accessible way.

The comics are designed by Rospotrebnadzor's own experts, with content adjusted for different age groups. Each edition covers a key health topic in an engaging format.

The summer comic will focus on food safety and preventing food poisoning. Later in the year, the autumn issue will explain the importance of vaccinations. By winter, the series will shift to home safety tips. The goal is to present essential health information in a way that children find easy to understand and remember.

The series begins with The Adventures of Petya Lentyayev, introducing basic hygiene and germ awareness. Future editions will expand on seasonal health themes. Rospotrebnadzor plans to continue developing the comics as part of its public health outreach.
