Son held after mother's fatal stabbing in German hotel room

A 47-year-old man is suspected of killing his 72-year-old mother in a hotel in Werne. The incident took place early Saturday morning, with police detaining the suspect shortly afterwards. Authorities have launched a homicide investigation but have yet to establish a clear motive.
