VR Bank Renews 'Health-Oriented Company' Title Through 2028
VR Bank Dreieich-Offenbach has once again earned the title of a 'Health-Oriented Company'. The certification, valid until summer 2028, highlights the bank’s strong focus on workplace well-being. Leaders say employee health remains a core part of their human resources strategy. The bank offers a wide range of health benefits to its staff. These include webinars on nutrition, corporate fitness schemes, and bike-leasing options. Employees also have access to a mental health hotline and internal coaching on stress management and resilience.
New and expanded measures now cover colorectal cancer screenings and psychological first responder training. A dedicated mental health crisis protocol has also been introduced. To deliver these services, the bank partners with APUS GmbH, Cures GmbH, Global Health, and EGYM Wellpass. CEO Stephan M. Schader has repeatedly stressed that health is a key priority. The institution invests around €200,000 each year in these initiatives. This latest certification marks the second time the bank has received the recognition.
The renewed certification confirms the bank’s long-term commitment to staff well-being. Programs will continue to expand until at least 2028, backed by annual funding and external partnerships. Employees will keep benefiting from both physical and mental health support.
