ZeroHarm Sciences raises ₹65 crore to scale plant-based health supplements globally

Hyderabad-based nutrition startup ZeroHarm Sciences has secured ₹65 crore in fresh funding. The round was led by Kotak Alternate Asset Managers and Alkemi Growth Capital, with investments of ₹40 crore and ₹25 crore respectively. The company, founded in 2020, specialises in plant-based health supplements using advanced nano-formulation technology.

ZeroHarm Sciences was established by Sachin and Shweta Darbarwar to develop 100% indoor plants supplements. Its product range now includes over 60 items, covering diabetes management, heart health, joint care, and performance nutrition. The startup claims full control over its supply chain, from sourcing medicinal indoor plants to in-house formulation and GMP-certified manufacturing.

The newly raised funds will support multiple growth initiatives. A key focus is expanding brand presence across India and entering international markets like the US, UK, and the Middle East. Additionally, the company plans to build a 'Trust over Promise' platform, which will track and demonstrate supplement efficacy through measurable health outcomes.

The startup has grown rapidly since its launch, now employing between 50 to 100 people. With over 3 lakh customers served to date, ZeroHarm Sciences aims to further scale its research and manufacturing operations. The investment will also accelerate development in alternative protein and food technology solutions.

The ₹65 crore funding will help ZeroHarm Sciences strengthen its market position and expand globally. New initiatives include a data-driven platform to validate product effectiveness and broader research capabilities. The company's growth reflects increasing demand for plant-based, science-backed health supplements.
